Morning Meds with - Izzy Herriette & Co/Ginger Renken

Monday - JAN 17, 2011

I will NEVER resign myself
I will NEVER be content
To settle for less
Than for what His life's blood
Was SPENT

Watch where I go, Lord
Let me NEVER depart
From the path You've set for me
The desire in YOUR heart

I want to be led, O Lord
Only by YOU
Living YOUR will out
All the way through

When I don't see the way, Lord
When things are not clear
I'll rest in YOUR promise
Your help is so near

I'll NEVER be found
At the end of my days
Having done it all right
Lest I've walked in YOUR ways

Somehow, He just has a way of doing things, that always keeps me surprised in a delightful fashion; such as this poem!

If you've been following Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette, you will see immediately, that the poem is a continuation of our past few messages.

He is good!

Follow Him in this day. Allow Him to direct your paths! Amen.

Sunday - JAN 16, 2011

Late yesterday afternoon, as I was hurrying through the kitchen and trying to remember what I went there for, I all of a sudden had a flashback of the walk we discussed in Morning Meds - earlier in the day. I was upset with myself when I realized that I had forgotten, what was in my estimation, one of the coolest parts of the message. You see, I left out a really important portion of the story and if it weren't for Him bringing things to my attention, you never would have gotten this portion.

Here it is:

At one point in the stroll, I shortened up the leash so as to keep Chili (eldest puppy) closer to my side, allowing me much more control over her pulling. You do recall that the revelation the Lord was giving me at that time, was one about "watching over our steps" and how He manages to keep us from the evil, even when we're not being watchful over ourselves. So, add to that the short leash.

I love this! I love how He does these things.

Everyone complains about being on a "short leash," right? Men and women in marriages comes to mind first. I have no clue why that would be. "You're holding me back, keeping me down and not allowing me space to grow!" You've heard it all before. It is incredibly and unfortunately too true in many cases. People can and do exercise wrong and abusive control over one another and it can cause a stunting that God never intended. So sad!

Coming from quite another angle yet however, I rather like the idea of God keeping me on a very, very short leash. As a matter of fact it's my prayer every day, all through the day and even on into the night time hours, that He do exactly that with me. I have lived my life away from Him and I've lived it very close to him. I know which one I choose now. He knows how important that is to me, and therefore, He went as far as to give me a song about it years ago.

I have no desire to walk far away from Him anymore. I don't want all that play in the rope. I covet His control over my life. After too much slack, too much room to roam, I now know where it is that I belong. The most intriguing thing about it all, is that the more controlled I am by Him, the more freedom I find myself experiencing; freedoms I never knew existed.

My prayer for myself, my prayer for you:

I wish a short leash on us all today. I wish us freedom in God!

Shalom

Saturday - JAN 15, 2011

My meditations came from the Lord this morning, as I was walking my grand-puppies, of all things:

Yesterday in our outdoor time and as we pattered down our customary pathway, I couldn't help but notice that the doggy evidences from our entire complex, were taking over the walkway. I was somewhat irritated, as each one is responsible by rules of the neighborhood, to clean up after their own. Fret not. I brought myself immediately back into right composure, not allowing my emotions to incite me unto any corresponding actions.

One day later, as I was recalling all those "piles" set for my boots to encounter, I was amazed at the idea that my feet somehow escaped every single one of those, and that apart from my full attention to do so.

Oh, what wonderful ministry of the Holy Spirit can come, over the simplest situations in life.

How is it possible and what are the chances that I should automatically manage to miss every single nasty deposit hidden on those grounds? And the Lord began to speak clearly:

Psalm 91:11,12 - For he shall give his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways, they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Proverbs 3:5-7 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I recognize that to attach these verses to my steps in this type of trivial circumstance, may appear non-relative and even a bit sacrilegious to some. However, I must state, "If He is speaking, I will be listening." And He was. And so I am.

Following these thoughts, there came an entourage of memories, flooding over my mind: How many times had He spared me from stepping into wrong places? How many traps had been set for me throughout my life, that He delivered me from, and apart from any help from me? How thankful am I that He was watching when I wasn't?

I heard these words from the Holy Spirit, "Watch where you're going!" And my voice in response, "Why?"

Then, my Father's favorite hymn began playing in my spirit, His Eye Is On The Sparrow ... And I know He watches me!

Next, revelation came to me, that on these walks recently, I've found myself numerous times looking over my shoulder. He pointed out fear that had crept into my heart, regarding women walking alone these days, and stories I've heard about being in the wrong place at precisely the wrong time; meeting with dangerous, life-altering and even life threatening outcomes.

I sensed the Lord's ministry to me, to put my complete trust in Him to guide my every move unto prosperity.

We must walk "wisely," in addition to placing our trust in Him.

I have shared over and over again with young women and not excluding older ones, the precautions that are necessary for today's women living in today's world. My daughter learned first-hand a few years ago, that my words to her were true, when a strange man followed her home from a gas station one evening. I stand in awe at how ill equipped, how naive people are today, in spite of all that is portrayed before them every day through media, television programming, national news and internet information; warning them of what things can happen and how to be prepared.

This scripture came to mind next:

Proverbs 4:26 - Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Psalm 119:98 - Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me.

Proverbs 4:1 - Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

Proverbs 5:1 - My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding.

Proverbs 8:1-3 - Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates at the entry of the city at the coming in at the doors.

I pray for myself, and for all of you, that we walk in the pathways of the Lord! I thank Him at the same time for His mighty and loving provision over us to lead us and to guide us thereunto.

Psalm 121:4 - Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works (paths), which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Thursday - JAN 13, 2011

As I spent time over the past few days, in conversation with a loved one, I was brought back more than once to the last devotion I shared. Which by the way was on Monday! I can't believe I missed two whole days with you.

Back to the story: (I do that all too frequently!)

This person was scurrying like mad, yesterday, as I tagged along for the early part of the day. She (anonymous) was preparing for a trip - for TODAY - which would have been tomorrow, yesterday; and at the last minute. I suggested, very tenderly, that she plan ahead a little more, or ask for help from someone. "Well, well, well," she bumbled in answer. My again careful "teacher moment" caused me to offer up, "Well, you have known about this for quite some time, now. Right?" (Keeping the sweet, small and "gingerly" tone in tact. I love that!)

As a matter of fact, I learned that morning, that for SURE, she would be coming over and I would be taking her out of town for a delivery; as she had blown out a back tire on her vehicle just the day before, when she hit several of Tulsa's infamous potholes in the road. Her car was not out-of-town drive-able. (Is that a word? I know we say it all the time.)

So at 7:00 A.M. I was ready ... and waiting. She only showed up fifteen minutes late and I understood why, with everything else she had going on. When we left the house, I looked at the gas gauge of my own vehicle, only to see that we were way low, like almost on empty. Only 55 miles of drive time left in the tank. My husband had used it the day before and didn't fill it back up. Hmmm. I didn't shake my head, either.

I told anonymous that we would have to "stop" for some gas before we dare leave town. The temps were below freezing and the wind was blowing 35 miles per hour. No, I don't go out of town with no gas on a day like this!

She insisted that we did NOT have time for that. I insisted that I would NOT be caught stranded on the roadside, any day, but for certain not on a day this cold! She won. What is wrong with me?

All the way there, she assured me that we would have plenty of gas; plenty of gas. And should we run out, we do have a reserve on this Expedition. She had Googled it! I don't know when she did that. Okay. I was counting on her every word to be the absolute truth; and nothing but.

When we hit our out-of-town destination, a half hour later; my SUV hit the zero reading for remaining miles to drive on the remaining amount of gas in the tank! Needless to say, being the mature woman that I am, I just took it all in stride, was very calm and that is just not the truth at all! And I don't lie!

At this point I began pleading with her, "Can we please get gas now?" Of all things, she came back with, "Well, if we stop to get gas now, their office is opening and they won't have this equipment that they need and I could lose my job for that."

Apart from laughing at the sheer irony of that entire thought process, I was, I guess, a little bit perplexed; as we continued on down the road(s) and away from the gas stations that were still in view in my rear view mirror. "Dear Lord, keep this thing running," was my hidden prayer - cry!

We dropped off the machine(s), which took time to take inside, being that they were numerous and heavy, and awkward, along with the fact that she wouldn't for some reason allow me to help her with them, in order to speed up the process. And the truck "had to keep running" because (she insisted), "If we shut it off, it will take twice as much gas to start it up again!"

So, out from the distance she came, shouting, "Wonderful! They locked me out this time for some reason!" Which meant another trip to the truck for the keys to the building, and then a second jog to the building. I, of course, sat in the truck (the one running without gas) as I'd been told to. I waited patiently. And prayed fervently!

1,2,3,4,5 ... She finally emerged from behind the bushes - running and laughing of all things! Then came her shrill, "Okay, floor it now! Let's get to that gas station ... after we talk to this woman who's walking up behind the truck ... the one who locked me out of the office!" The woman exchanged hello's and began immediately to move toward the office building, quickly, as to seek shelter from the freezing temperatures. My travel partner, concerned about the gas that was running out, struck up a conversation with her about where she put the equipment and, and, and, and.

We finally pulled out of the parking lot, her light and happy mood as part of the instructions she flitting-ly (?) waved at me next, "Turn to the left!" We drove a few blocks and she abruptly shouted, "Turn to the left, NOW!" The road I was to turn on, didn't look familiar, and it wasn't a road that was actually accessible from the street we were traveling on. Seeing how I'm so good at just taking orders, however, I slammed on the brakes and made the oddest turn to the left and up another road. Then another road. And another. I notice that she was looking around ... like we were lost! She calmly justified herself with, "Well, there are so many roads back here that it's very easy to lose your way."

I began singing Amazing Grace to myself, in disbelief!

I finally got up the nerve to squeak out, in her direction, "Are we going to make it to the gas station?"

Thank God she was right about her calculations with my vehicle and we made it to the station with her acting as though nothing had ever happened. No big deal!

On our way home, she rehearsed her list of "HAVE to's" for the day. I invisibly shook my head, back and forth, while keeping a straight face at the same time. Every time she would begin to share one more thing she had to do, her cell would ring, with one more thing she couldn't forget to do.

When we finally arrived at her house, where for some reason it escapes me now what we went there to do ... I was pressed further, to keep that same face plastered on myself. Her entire house was gutted and a crew of renovation workers occupied every area of the house - working it all out!

The living room contents were stacked to the ceiling in the dining room, you couldn't really get to the kitchen; their clothes were "somewhere," she just didn't know where to be exact; the washer and dryer were unhooked and in a different location, the reason for her not having any clothes to take on this trip - with her - tomorrow morning or this morning.

The conference is in Arizona, where the temperature will be gravely opposite of Oklahoma. Where were the summer clothes? It's a formal, black tie and she didn't have her dress picked out or purchased yet; or anything to go with it. The tux wasn't ordered yet and/or the shirts sent to the dry cleaners.

As we entered the gates of my complex, where she would return me to my home, I asked, "Are you sure you don't want me to go with and help you today?" As I entered through my own front door, sluggishly removed my coat and started for a drink; I realized how exhausted I was! Lord, have mercy!

At once, the article I had written on Monday, was being read aloud to my spirit. Guess who's getting a copy of it, as soon as they arrive back from Arizona on Sunday; at which time they will retrieve their two dogs from this dog-sitting Grandma!

Here's to hoping you are all about meditating ahead of time, on that which may be "down the road"!

Glory to God!

He makes a straight path for our feet ...

Monday - JAN 10. 2011

With all of the "stuff" that I have, my husband is always amazed when I can identify, immediately, if even one piece has been moved to a different spot ... by his slippery little hands.

Yes! I am well organized. I also have a tendency to watch over that organization like a hawk, which can go to an extreme, if I don't keep it under control

Even if I have papers strewn across my desktop, and stacks of books alongside, it's never in a manner where I've just haphazardly thrown them. I know exactly what they are and why they are where they are. That's right.

My husband likes to come into my office and, well let's just say, I've learned over the years that it's cause for alarm, as he likes to reposition everything. Don't ask me why.

I don't like wasting my time on looking for things. I'm finally at a place in my life, where I actually have time for doing the things I've always wanted to do. I'm passionate about making the most of my days remaining, and therefore, I choose to have everything in a "quick grab - and move on" order.

Sometimes my way of doing things, is conceived as an obsessive and annoying behavior in our household. Funny thing though, when my children where home, and now my husband alone; from all corners of the house, would and still do come cries, "Have you seen my ...?" Who do they expect to have the answer? And why?

You know, as I'm meditating on this scenario by the Holy Spirit's leading this morning, I am also experiencing (as always) a flood of scriptures coming to mind:

Psalm 1:1-3 - Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Proverbs 25:28 - He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Proverbs 4:25-27 - Let thine eyes look right on and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove thy foot from evil.

2 Kings 20:1 - In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

I see so many timely applications to these thoughts this morning:

1) With those who lost their lives this past weekend in AZ. Was their "house" in order?

2) Of course, we're addressing both physical and spiritual aspects of our lives in this message.

3) How can we bring ourselves into a "new order" this year - that we might be better watchmen - prepared for all things/areas in our lives.

4) It is a proven fact that people produce more when things are organized!

5) Attention paid - intentionally - to the details in our lives; may just be that desired monitor for keeping us in line and, ultimately ushering us into the highest quality of life when all is said and done.

Here's to the straight path and to the JOY on that path!

Isaiah 35:8-10 - And a highway will be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Good Day!

Sunday - JAN 9, 2011

The "mind"! Minding the mind.

Anyone who's ever accomplished anything in life, knows that they have had to "mind their mind," in order to do so.

Has your mind ever wandered to places where it would have been best had it never gone? Has it ever stayed in those very places, for far too long, once it snuck away there? Have you ever had to go and "retrieve" your mind, in much the same manner as you chasing your runaway dog? How about demanding your mind to "sit"? Oh, yes!

Battles always have been, and always will be, waged and fought all across our land. I dare to say that if the battles in the minds were won, there would be no battles in the land.

The mind - what a mechanism! Powerful little thing, ha?

The mind, the imagination; thoughts that if meditated upon and/or entertained long enough, can lead to ACTION.

And that statement re-minds me of many a wise word from God's Word:

Philippians 4:8,9 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. These things which ye have both learned, and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

These words from Paul, were written from Rome during his imprisonment - imagine THAT! Here, he is instructing the brethren to "keep their minds" in that God ordained place: peace, Shalom! Even while in prison, Paul admonishes us, whilest HE remains in that state of mind in spite of his physical state. He teaches us what to do, by his words, and further demonstrates the necessity of actually doing what we're told, by his own life.

2 Corinthians 10:3-8 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds.) ...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle - (Take a gander at this, just to expound upon that "stronghold".)

(vs 5) - Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Now, if you would, look at how the forward of this particular chapter (2 Corinthians) in my Bible reads (first paragraph):

"2 Corinthians is an intensely personal epistle. The weight of Paul's burden, his care for the churches, and his deep love and concern for them is reflected in the writing. It also reveals some of the difficulties Paul went through in his missionary endeavors. He endured much hardship, suffering, and humiliation."

Amazing! Again, imagine this powerful and called apart man of God ... enduring such suffering as he was, and at the same time still telling US how to handle our MINDS?

Selah - (Hebrew - Pause and calmly think on that.)

1 Peter 1:13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Oh, is this one DEEP!

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loin

Once more, for the purpose of expounding; laying layers that strengthen and cause to remain!

Did you SEE the part about the loins being the reproductive part of the body? This is so powerful. How does that hit you, in light of the scripture quoted above? The true thought, here, is that the mind is a place of reproduction; literally, the truth is, that it's a place of "birthing"! Be warned!

Romans 12:1,2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

I have in my possession, weeks and months of recorded teachings of mine, that I could share with you regarding this subject. Oh, how deep it really goes, once you get to the original meaning of the wording used in scripture!

For today, however, the Holy Spirit is warning (since 2004 - izzyherrietteco.blogspot.com) that " ... in the earth, there is an absolute "campaign" for the minds of men in this particular day!"

What will you do about that warning?

If we don't heed the warnings given ... well, look around you! Enough said.

"Be Sure In Knowing - The Winds Are Blowing!" - (Excerpt from Manifesto-Before the Cock Crows - 2004 - by Ginger Renken - Revelation of the perils to come upon the earth in soon coming days.)

Control your thoughts BEFORE they control you, your world, and the world around you!

The end of last year, found me designing a calendar for my grandson - for 2011. The caption for the calendar being:

Ps 127:1 - Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Following the shooting, today, in our nation ... I'm led to ponder the idea that this verse applies as well to - NATIONS!

After hearing the latest news reports regarding the shooting, I was led of the Lord to pick up this "certain" book: The Greatest Inventions of the PAST 2,000 YEARS - Today's Leading Thinkers Choose the Creations That Shaped Our World.

Bill Gates comments on the book:

"Recently, the author and literary agent John Brockman posed the question 'What is the most important invention in the last 2,000 years?' He received thoughtful and often surprising answers from more than 100 leading thinkers ... Reading them reminds me of how wondrous our world is." BILL GATES

I opened to read this excerpt today:

STEVEN ROSE

Democracy and Social Justice

I don't need a full page. The answer is clear: inventions are concepts, not just technologies, so the most important inventions are the concepts of democracy and social justice and the belief the possibility of creating a society free from the oppressions of class, race, and gender.

STEVEN ROSE, a neurobiologist, is a professor of biology and the director of the Brain and Behavior Research Group at the Open University, Milton Keynes, England. He is the author of Molecules and Minds, The Making of Memory, and Lifelines; a coauthor (with R.C. Lewontin and Leon Kamin) of Not in Our Genes; and the editor of From Brains to Consciousness? Essays on the New Science of the Mind.

All very appropriate, considering the events of this day - wouldn't you say?

Would you intentionally drive through a red light or choose to drive up a one-way the wrong way? How about jumping from a ten story building, with no net below to catch you?

Laws? Things "set in place" for your protection and safety; prosperity. When we violate such laws as those mentioned above, we suffer consequences, or we bear the fruit of that action. We don't bear it because someone wanted us to. Quite the contrary! Those laws were created for your GOOD - to HELP you. Those laws weren't created to limit or to bind you, but to bring you freedom.God's laws work in the same way and were created for the same reason(s). When we operate in the laws that God placed in the earth and then revealed through His Word, we actually DO PROSPER!

Believe it or not:

God is FOR us and not AGAINST us:Romans 8:31,32 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

It took me many years to learn and to come to right understanding of the things I'm sharing with you, here, today. His Word brought about the revelation, along with the Ephesians 1: 18 prayer.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2 - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God ...

God IS for us - in the laws that govern this world.

I imagine myself on a ferris-wheel, right now, lifting the bar that was placed there to hold me safely in to that ride. Hmmm.

Selah - (Hebrew Definition - Pause and calmly think on that.)

Shalom - (Hebrew Definition- Peace - nothing missing, nothing broken!)

James 1:13-16 - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived; it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Romans 13:13,14 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh; to fulfill the lusts thereof.

1 Corinthians 10:12,13 - Wherefore, let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Years ago, in my pastorate, in one of my teachings ...

The Lord spoke this to me, "My people work hard to find ways to "escape" My power and My ability to cause them to "escape" the temptation!"

God doesn't tempt us into lust and on into sin! The lust within us, uncontrolled, undetected and eventually unleashed; brings about the giving in - to sin!

WATCH AND PRAY. REMAIN ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN HIM!

CONTROVERSY:

Controversy: 1948 - New Century Dictionary - Turned against; dispute; turn; debate; contention; disputation concerning a matter of opinion.

Our present world is in controversy with itself. The hard pressed expression is that we are fast paced, busy and driven, therefore, leaving us with no time for meditation. At the same time, we see that meditation (every form thereof), is at the very forefront of focus - it is the posh-padded new pathway, haled in our society today for everyone to trample after. Example: our favorite coffee shops, our luxury retreats, weekend packages for the salvation of our wholeness, spas, message therapy, organics for the health of our mind, body and soul; movies, toys, entertainment and the list goes on, and on, and on ... and the greatest on the list is the "information age". It takes time and attention to digest all of that information out there - all new - and filtered down to us through all new channels! All requiring more, more and more of our time and attention.

Meditate: Webster's 1913 Dictionary

To keep the mind in a state of contemplation; to dwell on anything in thought; to think seriously; to muse; to cogitate; to reflect.
[imp. & p. p. Meditated ; p. pr. & vb. n. Meditating.]
In his law doth he meditate day and night.
- Ps. 1:1, 2.

To contemplate; to keep the mind fixed upon; to study.

To purpose; to intend; to design; to plan by revolving in the mind; as, to meditate a war.
I meditate to pass the remainder of life in a state of undisturbed repose.
- Washington.

The on-line Bible definitions for "meditate" are very interesting, indeed! I learned that all Old Testament references carried a rather negative connotation to their meaning:

mourn, mutter, roaring, sore, talk, study, imagine, moan, growl, utter, muse, devise, plot, complain, whisper, murmur

Oddly, the New Testament meaning, changes to a positive:

imagine, to care for, attend to carefully, practise, devise, contrive, take care, care about

Hmmm...

Psalm 5: 1 - Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

Psalm 19: 14 - Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 49: 3 - My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psalm 104: 34 - My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the Lord.

Psalm 119:97 - O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

Psalm 119: 99 - I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my meditation.

In writing the book: Manifesto - Before The Cock Crows, (which I would say, is an enormous piece of counsel for profiting unto good, to anyone who takes it unto themselves to do it) I found the centrality of the message to be a deep cry to: Watch Over Your Minds - Meditations!

1 Peter 1: 13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Why is this so important, today?

Let me tell you that there are "wicked" minds out there these days - among family members, friends, neighbors, lawmakers, government officials, national leaders. There are devices being devised in a cunning and crafty way, to change the course of things, in this day. If you are not AWAKENED to this fact - I AM HERE TO AWAKEN YOU! The only reason I can do that, is because the Lord, always, by His Spirit, gives me the head's up!

The things that we're seeing in our world today, I was warned about years ago!

God (if you don't already know) is a man who EXPOSES DARKNESS! God is a man who CRACKS AND CREATES THE DAWNS! God, right now, KNOWS AND SEES ALL and is trying His best to SHAKE SOME OF US UP out of our places of blindness and ignorance!

At this very moment there are FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES, bearing many different names, which are on the verge of being STOLEN CLEAN AWAY from us!

Do YOU have knowledge of these things? Could you NAME them?

If your answer is NO - you are in the RIGHT place! I CAN help you!

MEDITATIONS are at the BACKBONE of our LIBERTIES at risk right now!

The mind leads the man. So goes the man, so goes the nation; if the majority follows! Sometimes, as is the case at this time, it only takes a few in "influential positions" to change the course of an entire nation. That initiator seeks out, pursues and invests in those who will willingly be like minded, and help to further and to ultimately accomplish their causes.

People can be following a PATH that they see not - like sheep being led, deceptively, over a cliff - IN A FOG!

I believe that we are there, NOW!

There are things going on in high places that we know not of. We're not paying attention. We're not watching. We're not informed. We are out "eating, drinking and being merry". Meantime, there is a watchful, scheming, informed, educated, equipped, strategic, studied-out plotting, taking place over governments.

Do we know and/or understand that? Did we understand 9/11/01, here in the United States?

There were many prophetic people in the land, who knew that 9/11/01 was coming. Would people have heeded their warnings, had they been given?

I was one of them. I led my people, my flock at that time (by instruction and revelation of the Holy Spirit), into a prayer in the floor on 9/2/01. The Lord had spoken to me before service that morning that there was something going on in the unseen realm that we needed the "watch" of His Holy Spirit to be making us aware of!

Goodness clothed with innocence but stripped of wisdom - faces danger!

Matthew 10: 16 - Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Serpents: (Gk) - (through the idea of sharpness of vision) - snake, serpent; with the ancients, the serpent was an emblem of cunning wisdom. The serpent who deceived Eve was regarded by the Jews as the devil.

If we desire goodness, we must also realize that there is an imperative to the "maintenance" of that goodness!

We are the benefactors, only, of that which we choose to meticulously be keepers over!

Genesis 2: 15 - And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Someone has to govern. This is why we have governments. So, what do we choose to be governed by? What kind of lives do we desire to be able to live? Accordingly, we must then go a step further, to take the responsibility to rule unto that end - or choose those who will rule for us - hopefully, unto that end! Or we can sit back, be uninvolved, oblivious, irresponsible and foolish; choosing, thereby, to live under whatever is chosen for us by other activists!

There is, today, even what the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6: 18 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I don't believe that a majority of people in the earth today, have clear vision of how much wickedness is literally lurking in governments today - seeking out places to set up their kingdoms and to begin to RULE!
High places!

I adjure you, by the Spirit of God, to be very, very careful about what you believe in this very day and hour!
The Lord spoke to me in the writing of the book and said, "Ginger, these are days of either the 'harry potter or the Holy Potter'!

Harry: Ravage as an army does. Army, host. To ravage (places) as in war; devastate; pillage, or despoil; also, to harass (persons) by repeated attacks, forced exactions, rapacious demands, etc.; in gen., to harass, trouble, torment, or worry; also, to carry off, as in a raid. To make harassing, incursions.

Potter: One who makes earthen pots or vessels.

Holy: Entitled to worship or profound religious reverence because of divine character or origin, or connection with God or divinity; in general, invested with a sacred character, hallowed, or held in profound reverence; also, specially recognized as or declared sacred by religious use or authority, or consecrated.

In other words, we will be formed by schools of thought and sealed therein. Our fate is in those thoughts! Our end. Or our beginning. All in a school of thought!

Will we choose, this day, to be formed into a Holy thing or a harrowing thing? We must begin to
think!

Our nation - the United States of America - is heading towards a true RE-FORMATION!
I know that some people don't see or believe that ... some do. Those who do, are completely taken, by how close we actually are to it and by how suddenly it seems to have come upon us.

One year ago, the Lord gave me a prophetic song for the nations. In this song, the Lord referred to these days as "tumultuous days".

Just this past week, a reporter from Wall Street (a twenty-two year veteran), was on radio, and made this comment regarding the recent Wall Street Fall, " I never in my wildest imaginations, would have thought that I would see a day like this! These are "tumultuous days"! There's just no other way to say it. We are on the verge, one step away from Socialism! Does anyone see that?"

God doesn't "miss" when He speaks prophetically - if it's really Him speaking.

I know that I hear from Him! Therefore, I SPEAK!

WILL YOU HEAR WHAT GOD HAS TO SAY, BY WAY OF HIS MOUTHPIECE?

WE NEED TO BE "AWAKENED"!

THUS, THE CREATION OF THIS PARTICULAR SITE ...

A PLACE TO POST WHAT THINGS THE LORD HAS SAID IN THE PAST ...

To incite a MEDITATION UPON THOSE very THINGS ...

SEE HOW MANY OF THE WORDS SPOKEN, HAVE ALREADY COME TO PASS ...

THEN, TAKE PROPHETIC WORDS FOR THE FUTURE ...

BELIEVE THEM ...

AND BUILD WITH THEM ...

FOR SAFETY SAKE!

We are currently in trouble on many levels, in the world.

So, who will "govern" the situation at hand?

Only ones who have the mind for it!

Nehemiah 4: 6 - So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof; for the people had a mind to work.

I pray that God gives you a mind to work, today - for this day!
