UNTO FRUITFULNESS - IT'S ALL TIED UP.

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co - Sunday - JAN 30, 2011 -

So how are things "stacking up" for you, thus far, this year? Have you taken personal inventory as of late? Or are you in a mad dash, like the rest of the world, and it's just one of those things there seems to be no time for.

We all know how the time does fly! Well, yes, time does fly. Time has a way of slipping through our fingers. We can't hold onto it. We can't make it stop, no matter how much we may want to. Moments, days, weeks and then years. Where do they all go? And someday, we will stop, even if it's only while we're yet in our running and we will feel an aching in our hearts, "Did I do what I should have done with my time(s)?"

We can't get stuck in regret, and yet, we can learn from our past, if we're courageous enough to face the truths that lie therein. What will matter at the end of all things?

Ready?

1 Corinthians 3:13-15 - Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

You've heard the expression "the cards were stacked against me"? Let me share with you this morning, that God wants things to be stacked in our favor! He even promises, with our cooperation, that He will cause things to come to our aid, if we will just put Him and His Kingdom first in our lives.

Romans 8:31,32 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

I believe this scripture to be given of God to me this morning - for you:

Deuteronomy 1:38 - But Joshua the son of Nun which standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: encourage him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

I have gone in ... and I have inherited ... and I know that God called me years ago, to speak forth words in prophetic song and teaching, to cause people to enter into what He ordained for them. I was sent forth by the Holy Spirit, to cause you to walk in - and to inherit the good land - that He has prepared for you in Christ Jesus, His Son!

Now, I need your prayers. Sometimes, it would
seem that things are stacked or working against me too. I ask for your prayers, as God instructed for prayers for Joshua, from those who he would lead to the abundant place. The ultimate, great end, of it all working together with Joshua and the people, was that they would all inherit the plan of God. The divine purpose would be fulfilled!

I have to speak to myself, encourage myself in the Lord on a continual basis and you will have to do the same. In order for us to make the best use of our time allotted, here on earth, we will have to be filled with the Word of God, empowered by the Holy Ghost and knit together with the Body of Christ and the five-fold ministry operations.

I hear these words from Ephesians, daily, ringing their message in my spirit:

Ephesians 5:14-16 - Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly; not as fools but as wise. Redeeming (seizing every opportunity; making the most of) the time, because the days are evil.

We can and must do these things if we are to be found in that day, standing before Jesus, knowing all is well with our soul.

Reach out today, won't you? Reach out with all of your faith and grab hold of each other, grab hold of the Word of the Lord together. Strengthen yourself unto every good work that He has ordained for you, in Christ, today. Remain strong in Him and in the power of His might, realizing that He has already made the provision for us to overcome every snare that would keep us from our "time well spent"!

Hebrews 12:1 - Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.

I lift up my voice to the Father, on your behalf today, and I say along with the witnesses, "YOU CAN BE VICTORIOUS - SO RUN YOUR RACE!"

Shalom

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co - Saturday - JAN 29, 2011 -

Y - O - U!

Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and asked the question, "Who are you?" Have you ever had anyone ask that of you?

This is one area, I believe, we will be most tested in as days continue on. What is our resolve? Can and will we hold fast to it? Will we be like the Lord, who said, "I am the same yesterday, today and forever. I change not." I believe now is the time for us to locate ourselves in truth. By that I mean - in certainty and in all honesty - with God, and then with ourselves before God.

I have learned over the years, who I
truly am, by way of my submission to the search light of the Holy Spirit in my life.

1 Corinthians 3-5 - But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment; yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then shall every man have praise of God.

Paul was saying here, that he couldn't judge himself by himself, and that no man could rightly judge him either; only the Heavenly Father would know right judgment of him.

Hebrews 4:12,13 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight; but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

I found out, that if I was going to truly walk with the Lord, my ways would be revealed unto me. He would do that as part of His ministry in me. My sins are hidden to me apart from the revelation and exposure of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God operating together on my behalf. That process only takes place, and is completed, by my willingness to cooperate. I came to understand that I always have a choice, once things are presented to me, to change ... with His help, grace and strength. Or I can choose to remain the same, thereby missing out on the blessing, holding myself back from progress and even endangering my life by that decision.

Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

We only
think we know ourselves well and we fool ourselves in doing so. Our own understanding can and will lie to us. There are hidden motives, agendas, rivalries, lusts ... in us ... that we know not of. These are a compilation, comprising us into the person that we really are! All of these are functioning, living, breathing components in our personalities, belief systems and actions.

1 Corinthians 10:12 - Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Proverbs 4:23 - Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

I have been shocked by deep things uncovered in me, by the Holy Spirit, throughout the years. Many of them, undeniably denied, on my part. I thank God for His ministry in me, to heal me of those places in my life that were aligned to destroy me. Unfortunately, those parts of us not dealt with, can so easily destroy not only us, but sadly, others as well.

So, who are YOU, today?

Take my advice and don't rely on your own opinion of yourself. Ask God to show you who you are in His clear and accurate view and estimation.

If we think we are strong enough for the days ahead ... we may need to rethink that ... and stay very close to the Lord to get us through!

Ephesians 6:10-14 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand. Stand therefore, ...

Are you wearing the right
makeup today? (Not cosmetically speaking.)

(The post office box number is not right, so please don't send anything to this box. I just wanted to share the photo with you because of what it represents.)

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co - Friday - JAN 28, 2011

About a month ago the Lord spoke a verse of scripture to me that I'm very familiar with. When He shared it with me this time, it took on a whole new meaning and I would like to look at that verse with you today:

Luke 18:8 - ... Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Look at this closely, if you will, and recognize that this verse follows a chapter in which Jesus had just spoken directly and specifically to the time of His Second Coming!

When I heard Him quote this scripture to me a month ago, within the context of the day that we now find ourselves to be in, I nearly exploded inside! I "got it" for the first time - ever!

Do you realize how
tried people are in their faith at this particular time ... when there is such extreme trial everywhere ... on every level ... and in every area of life? Yet, this IS, the time that Jesus spoke of, when He asked the people this question in Luke 18.

Does it hit you like it was hitting me and still is?

If our faith wasn't tested before, it will be in the day before His return. Are you ready? And not just ready, but do you realize that He is looking for a Church, that will be found operating in the fullness of faith at the very moment when everything is falling apart ... when the hearts of men are failing for fear of those things coming upon the earth ... when it seems that all things are giving way to wickedness and destruction all around? We as God's people are to be walking in the fullness of His joy, love, faith ...

Let that go off inside your inner person!

So, here we go:

Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Revelation 3:20-22 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

I love the way this is stated in Revelation. Look at how the verse regarding "overcoming" is surrounded by two verses instructing us in our "fellowship" with Him.

How will we be found
in faith at His Coming? Oh, Church ... by having maintained, foremost, our fellowship with HIM:

Jude 17-25 - But beloved remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference. And others, save with fear pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spoiled by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy. To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

My dear friends, I can't tell you the compassion that God has poured out in my heart for people today! He did that in 2004, when He revealed to me, the perils that would soon be coming upon the earth.

I reach out to you with that compassion, now, and I say these words to you:

Ephesians 3:14-18 -For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love; may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.

My prayers with each of you for VICTORY in every situation.

Shalom

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co - Thursday - JAN 27, 2011

Isaiah 51:21-23 - Therefore hear now this, thou afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine. Thus saith the Lord and thy God that pleadeth the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of thine hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; thou shalt no more drink it again. But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict thee; which have said to thy soul, Bow down, that we may go over; and thou hast laid thy body as the ground and as the street, to them that went over.

I will never forget the first time my eyes read these verses! How they went directly into my heart and exploded there. In those days (and still to this day) I was so in need of HELP that I would literally clutch the Bible, which contained these words, to my body. At times I could be found walking through my home, holding that book tightly to my bosom and lifting up the words that I had just read there on it's pages; calling forth the message in effort that it would not only penetrate my very being and remain there but that it would also manifest itself in my life. I have been known to sleep with His Word next to me, clinging to it with my very life.

The promises of God have never failed me, when I've been faithful to press upon them for their purposed intent:

Isaiah 55:8-12 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth; and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth; it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Most of what I learned from the Word of God and directed to me, as a believer in Christ Jesus the Son, seemed in my estimation to be very, very good! I never knew that of the Lord, prior to the Holy Spirit teaching me truth. He opened my eyes to truly see what God was saying to us, as His people.

God went further in His Word to us, to guarantee that we could and should be recipients of those things that He spoke of, on our behalf. I can't articulate how that changed my life, my attitude, my perception of God; His Kingdom; and my place in all of it. For the first time in my existence, I had hope!

2 Corinthians 1:20 - For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him A'-men, into the glory of God by us.

I began immediately to take every promise written in His Word and to put my full and complete trust in His faithfulness to bring it to pass. I can tell you that He has not failed to do exactly that for me.

Today, with so much unrest surrounding us ... so much uncertainty ... fear abounding ... wickedness abounding ... bad news abounding ...

Remember these words:

2 Corinthians 9 - 8 - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that ye always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. (Read 2 Cor 9:6-15)

How can we stand around paralyzed with fear and anxiety, when His Word speaks these things to us? That will only happen if we are not founded in Him - if we have not allowed His Word to take deep root in our hearts, minds and lives - if our hope is not stayed upon Him and His promises to us.

Grow roots and stay planted!

Pray for the promise of that Isaiah 51:21-23 - for Israel - of whom it was spoken. This is her time ... Keep your eye on her and your prayers lifted up for her, that her enemies will not prevail against her.

Shalom

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co -

Wednesday - JAN 26, 2011

How did I ever come to know the
depth of the true love of the Father for me? The answer is: by the written word of God and the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit. As it was for me, I met the Holy Spirit within me in 1979, realized that He was living in me and then began immediately to be taught by Him.

Ephesians 1:15-18 - Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in knowledge of him;
the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

This is a prayer from Paul for the church at Ephesus. I have prayed this prayer by the leading of the Lord - over His Church - every single day since the Spring of 1979. Many more times than not, that prayer came in the form of a deep travail!

Be certain, if we are ever to understand the things of God in the way that He intends, and/or to receive the fullness thereof, we will do so only in learning to rely completely on that which the Holy Spirit would bring to us, by way of revelation. This is His appointment in us by our Heavenly Father.

1 John 2:20,24,27 - But ye have an unction from the Holy One and ye know all things....Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father....But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

We have an anointed teacher in the Holy Spirit. Hallelujah! What a gift! What a truth.

John 14: 15-17 - If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever, even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

John 14:26 - But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

I still, after thirty-one years of walking closely with Him, stand in
awe at His power and ability within me to "get things to me"! Do you have any idea what things He has to expertly bypass in me in order to make Himself and His words known unto me? I am complex and my thinking can be not only loud but also very strong!

I will never be able to say enough about the preciousness of God's Holy Spirit living in me! What an awesome, powerful, amazing and comforting Spirit He is! Even when there are hard things He needs to reveal to me, I can receive it just in knowing that it's coming from the throne room of God, by way of His Spirit. If I need some persuasion in a matter, He is the only one to accomplish that work in me effectively and to bring about the right, fruitful end that the Father is desirous of.

John 14:13-15 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself, but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me; for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine; therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit, because He is the voice of the Father in us, can cause us to prosper as God wills in every area of life, including, most importantly, in our relationship with Him. This is why we need so to "have an ear to hear what the Spirit saith ..." (Revelation 2:29; 3:6,22)

Ephesians 5:18,19 - And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.

Right now, I hear my own voice echoing in my spirit, speaking words I spoke to a precious group of people from home. This was in a prophetic meeting, one where I shared prophetic warnings and held in March of 2004. My opening question to those present at that time was, "Are you walking in the Holy Ghost today? I hope you are! You need to be. If you're not, I'm going to try to stir you up, tonight, to do just that. There will be perilous times ahead and you will need the Holy Spirit to guide you through!"

These are days (I implore you by the Holy Ghost to hear this), when we dare not walk apart from the instruction of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. God is the only one who can see what things are transpiring in the darkness around us. He sees the traps and snares that are set for us and He can prevent our falling. If we will stay hooked up with Him and remain intent upon hearing His voice alone, He can cause us to "dodge" our enemies. He brings wise counsel, giving us insights to be ahead of the game; again, in every area of life.

Oh, that we, the Church, are truly reflecting Him in the earth today! Trust the Holy Spirit to produce that reality in you.

I hope you choose to fellowship with Him today! Receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit from the Father.

Shalom

Psalm 42:1 - As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette -

Tuesday - JAN 25, 2011

Yesterday in Morning Meds we spoke of that "living water" that Jesus promised in John 4. To those who would come and partake, He promised that they would "never thirst again"; that the water He would give them would be in them "a well springing up unto everlasting life"!

As I was meditating upon this throughout the day, the Lord brought back a vision given to one of my closest sisters in Christ, back in 1979. The Lord had spoken to her that she was to come and care for my children, as God was calling me to prayer and to labor for/with Him, and I would need an extra hand. She chose to heed His voice and came to me, offering her assistance, as the Lord had instructed her. That night she was visited and extremely affected by an open vision given her in her bedroom. Before her, appeared a withered person, bony in body from starvation, clothed in desert-torn, filthy rags for clothing. This person walked past her bed and towards her bedroom window. In his hands he held a cup, which he tightly clasped with both hands, his arms stretched out before him as far as they could reach. He approached the open window in her room. There, the man with desperation, held his cup outside the window and upward toward heaven. With his faint and dying breath remaining, he CRIED OUT TO HEAVEN, "Please, please!" Shellie was so emotionally impacted by the reality of what she had seen and heard that she called me immediately to talk with me about it, in hopes that I could comfort her in her stress and bring some enlightenment to her bewilderment.

I dare to say that I can see that vision coming to pass before my eyes today! The prophetic words spoken to me on July 4, 2007, were directly related to this vision, and we've already seen that many, through crisis situations of one kind or another, have begun to CRY OUT TO HEAVEN for THAT drink! Heavenly HELP and DELIVERANCE is what they're looking for. The Lord prophesied to me on this July 4th date, that this is exactly what would be taking place in days to come.

God reveals things to His own! I am thankful to Him for His faithfulness to us, as His precious people, belonging unto Him!

Look at what things He shared with me late in the night last night:

Psalm 33:16-23 - There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Psalm 36:7-9 - How excellent is thy loving-kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light.

As you go today, and as you walk maybe in a valley where the shadows of death, famine, trouble, confusion, sickness, pain, suffering and loss ... are all around you ...

I pray that you walk in those streams with Him in this day ... those refreshing waters ... those still waters ... prepared and foreordained for you to walk in! I pray that you be "filled" and that you allow some of that infilling to flow out to those who you connect with. They may just be holding out their cup with a hidden inward cry, "Please! Please!"

Lord, strengthen any weak area of faith, today! Lift each one to walk in their high places with You! Amen.

Shalom my brothers and sisters in Christ!

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co -

Monday - JAN 24, 2011

Taking my "canteen" with me - wherever I go!

It seems so very dry; the land wherein I dwell today.

Spiritually speaking, honestly, I feel much like the scriptures I read about Lot ... 2 Peter 2:7-9 - "vexed by the filthy conversation of the wicked. For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds...."

Ah, but that I know, He has made provision for me as His own (for those who believe):

John 4:13,14 - Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again. But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 7:37-39 - In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive; for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

Isaiah 55:1,2 - Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat, yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

O, yes! I have drunk from the wells of salvation! I have tasted and seen that the Lord is GOOD. Praise to His name, forever and ever! Amen.

Numbers 21:17 - Than Israel sang this song, "Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it...."

Sometimes we need to "stir up that gift that is within us" ... lest it become a stagnant pool!

Psalm 63:1 - O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Psalm 42:1,2 - As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Ah, I thank you, Lord, that you make "pools" in the desert for your own!

Drink deeply - from the wells of salvation - today!

Glory to you, Father!

Shalom!

From the heart of God today - to YOU!

For some reason, the Holy Spirit is witnessing to my heart today; bringing back all of the heightened prophetic words of warning that He has given me over the past years. This brings me to you.

One of those warnings that seems to be standing and waving for my attention, is one given me on July 4, 2007, which you can read about on the Izzy Herriettte & Co/Main Blog: http://izzyherrietteco.blogspot.com/. (Scroll down towards the bottom of page and search for the picture with this date beneath.)

Oh, how He longs for people
to hear what He is speaking by His Holy Spirit - to the Church as well as to the anyone who will listen and believe!

On the weekend of the Wall Street Fall-Out, the Lord shut me into my office and poured out revelation; His mind on the situation. Days later, while driving, I heard a Wall Street reporter who's been at it for over thirty years, saying these words in horror, "Oh, my God! Does anyone see that we are falling prey to Socialism? Does anyone see this besides me? I never, in my wildest dreams, would have imagined this day happening as it is today! Never! The only way I know to express it is: This is a 'tumultuous day'!" (When you read the article that I referred you to, you will see that this is the exact word the Lord gave in the prophetic song on that July 4, 2007, summer day -
"tumultuous day"!)

Oh, how we need to hear His voice above all others in this day. We can be prepared if we will take the time to listen for and to Him!

Don't you think we need to be directed by Him in this special hour?

Please take the time to read the article.

Be blessed and we'll talk more about it later.

(My son: Nekoda Renken)

It is no secret
What God can do
What He's done for others
He can do for you ...

I wonder, today, if you've ever heard the words to this song. I am pondering the truth in these words and recognizing that many, even as Christians, may never really attain unto the truth of these words; never have the experience of them in their own lives.

I remember the first time I read this verse:

2 Chronicles 16:9 - For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him....

I was immediately intrigued by these words coming from the mouth of God - toward me!

Have you been able to draw nigh enough to the Lord for him to speak things like these to you?

James 4:8 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

Isaiah 1:18-20 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured ...

I never knew that He longed to give me good things! I was never taught that he was for me and not against me:

Romans 8:31,32 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Have you ever allowed Him to perform His good Word in your life? Maybe you have, or maybe you never have. Maybe you did at one time but now you can't
identify your whereabouts in Him.

I am so thankful for His word that comes to teach us:

Lamentations 21-25 - This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in him.

Every morning, just like the father in Luke 15 - who waited for the prodigal son to return home - the Heavenly Father waits for us to come to him; to learn of him; and to partake of what he has foreordained for us in his own Son.

You don't want to miss that! I don't want to miss it! Once you've tasted of him and his works:

Psalm 34:8 - O taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

There was a time in my life, when my lips never spoke His name. Now, it's a song that he's given me as part of the ministry he called me to.

There was a time in my life, when I didn't know his goodness; his grace; his presence; or his power toward me, as I am in Him now. I had no knowledge or understanding of his ways or his works that were prepared for me to walk in as his own. I didn't know HIM!

Today:

Psalm 103:1 - Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

And you can read the remainder of the chapter for yourself. If you are in God through your faith in Jesus Christ today, you can lay hold of all of his promises for you, in his word!

Begin to read. Begin to come to know and understand ... what he truly has for you!

My prayers are with you!

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co/Ginger Renken

Thursday - JAN 20, 2011

I'm finding it difficult, this morning, to adjust myself to the truth that this is January 20th, already. Not only is it January 20th, but it's January 20th, 2011! How? How did we arrive here so quickly?

As I ask you this question, I am seeing a scenario playing in my head. I see someone riding in a car ... taking a very, very long ... and boring trip. As they sit there, idle and miserable, the time drags by. Now the vision changes and I see someone who's absorbed in work all along the way. When the car reaches it's destination, the passenger looks up and quite with surprise inquires, "We're here already?"

For me, every day of my life since 1979, has been like the second character mentioned above. When you're called and you know full well that there is so much work to be done; you know that every minute counts.

Let me share with you today, the scriptures that He called me with, those that ring out in my spirit all day long - everyday:

John 9:4 - I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day; the night cometh when no man can work.

John 4:34 - Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish the work.

Luke 9:23 - And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.

Luke 9:62 - And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one; and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mam'-mon.

Jesus moved with clear vision and intense focus. The scriptures tell us that he " ... set his face like flint":

Isaiah 5:7 - For the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded; therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.

How can we ever reach those intended places; accomplish those God ordained plans; fulfill the great commission; work out our own salvation; endure unto the end, if we don't set our faces like flint?

I so often feel that "my time" to do what He has required, is so quickly slipping away. I desire more than anything else in this life, to be able to say with the apostle Paul, "I finished my course. I have run my race." I know without a doubt, I have missed the mark, many times throughout my life. I also know that I can't leave off with forging forward, pressing toward the mark of that high calling in Christ. "Where will I go Lord? For you hold the words of life?" I must, with all that is within me, continue to march forward with the flag of Jesus lifted high! (Prophetic song given me in 1990's)

Therefore, I watch over my steps and I reach out to trust Him that He is watching over me as well; to make clear that path before me, that I might fulfill the work that He has ordained for me.

I pray for you, today, that you fulfill His plans for your life!

Selah (Pause and calmly think on that.)

Blessings

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co - Wednesday - JAN 19, 2011 -

Psalm 73:2,3 - But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped. For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

It would seem that we're not going to
walk away quickly from this topic that the Lord has had us on together, here, for the past several days now.

As I climbed into bed last night and opened my Bible to read, I looked down and behold, there it was. The very scripture that had been going through my spirit all day long. The one about "my feet slipping". (He's amazing isn't He? You know when He's truly speaking, don't you?)

Yesterday, I had the privilege of doing a 45 minute phone interview with Dan Calabrese per his request. Throughout our lengthy, full and edifying conversation, it came up several times: The Church is not prepared for
the day at hand. I am of that conviction, in a fervent and passionate manner, as it is part of what God has laid upon my heart to be doing; preparing His Bride for the days approaching.

One of the things I see happening the most in the Church today, is laid out, addressed and even
exposed if you will, in this scripture that we are looking at today. (This verse that, rather, He has directed our attention to on this day.)

Where is the Church? Where are you? What is our focus in life? Are we directing our steps - watching over our pathway - as we've been speaking about for days now?

As I shared with Dan yesterday, "I have been preaching this message for fifteen years now. This has been the
mainstay of every message I've taught! Every song given me, every teaching, always leads to the same end: This is not the day to found far away from Him!

You know, when I began my walk with the Lord, based upon the truth of His Word, I learned immediately that if we're walking with Him in an authentic manner we will never be found dragging along behind the "world"! Oh, no! My God is the most able man! He has given me a life that I know I never would have had apart from Him. He's given me things that I earnestly desired in the most secret places of my heart. He has fulfilled that "exceeding, abundantly above" in my life.

I will suggest to you, that at this time, I see much of the Church as one inside the gates looking out! You're familiar with the saying, only in reverse.

The Church so many times and far too much of the time, is looking at the world with envy, as though being in the house or the courts of the Almighty is robbing them somehow.

Please hear me on this day! If we are standing inside His gates today ... if we are in His courts ... we have access to things that this world, sadly, will never even know about.

Two scriptures come to mind here:

Psalm 100:4,5 - Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good ...

Psalm 134:1-3; Psalm 135:2,3- BEHOLD, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands, in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. The Lord that has made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion. Ye that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God. Praise the Lord; for the Lord is good; ...

Psalm 23:6 - Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Psalm 84:10-13 - For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee!

Okay, so that's far more than two scriptures. I can't help myself! I love the words of God and they just come flooding over me like that.

How we need to be found in "those courts," remaining there and not acting like we are imprisoned there! If this is your mindset about the Kingdom of God, the house of God, the courts of God - you need an Ephesians 1:18 experience in your life!

Again I do believe that many who call themselves people of God - are in this place that we've spoken of here today - far away from Him and all that He has for their lives.

Keep this most important fact in mind as you go today: This is not the hour to be dull in your hearing from Him! Your safety, protection, and prosperity is going to be found in hearing His voice alone!

Trust me, the world has nothing to be envious of. The truth is completely the opposite:

Romans 10:19; 11:11 - ... salvation is come unto the Gentiles for to provoke them to jealousy.

The Amplified Bible, when expounding upon the word "blessed," reads: ... to be envied ...

Selah (Pause and calmly think on that.)

Walk in these thoughts today, won't you? (We'll address this more tomorrow.)

Morning Meds with - Izzy Herriette & Co/Ginger Renken

Monday - JAN 17, 2011

I will NEVER resign myself
I will NEVER be content
To settle for less
Than for what His life's blood
Was SPENT

Watch where I go, Lord
Let me NEVER depart
From the path You've set for me
The desire in YOUR heart

I want to be led, O Lord
Only by YOU
Living YOUR will out
All the way through

When I don't see the way, Lord
When things are not clear
I'll rest in YOUR promise
Your help is so near

I'll NEVER be found
At the end of my days
Having done it all right
Lest I've walked in YOUR ways

Somehow, He just has a way of doing things, that always keeps me surprised in a delightful fashion; such as this poem!

If you've been following Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette, you will see immediately, that the poem is a continuation of our past few messages.

He is good!

Follow Him in this day. Allow Him to direct your paths! Amen.

Sunday - JAN 16, 2011

Late yesterday afternoon, as I was hurrying through the kitchen and trying to remember what I went there for, I all of a sudden had a flashback of the walk we discussed in Morning Meds - earlier in the day. I was upset with myself when I realized that I had forgotten, what was in my estimation, one of the coolest parts of the message. You see, I left out a really important portion of the story and if it weren't for Him bringing things to my attention, you never would have gotten this portion.

Here it is:

At one point in the stroll, I shortened up the leash so as to keep Chili (eldest puppy) closer to my side, allowing me much more control over her pulling. You do recall that the revelation the Lord was giving me at that time, was one about "watching over our steps" and how He manages to keep us from the evil, even when we're not being watchful over ourselves. So, add to that the short leash.

I love this! I love how He does these things.

Everyone complains about being on a "short leash," right? Men and women in marriages comes to mind first. I have no clue why that would be. "You're holding me back, keeping me down and not allowing me space to grow!" You've heard it all before. It is incredibly and unfortunately too true in many cases. People can and do exercise wrong and abusive control over one another and it can cause a stunting that God never intended. So sad!

Coming from quite another angle yet however, I rather like the idea of God keeping me on a very, very short leash. As a matter of fact it's my prayer every day, all through the day and even on into the night time hours, that He do exactly that with me. I have lived my life away from Him and I've lived it very close to him. I know which one I choose now. He knows how important that is to me, and therefore, He went as far as to give me a song about it years ago.

I have no desire to walk far away from Him anymore. I don't want all that play in the rope. I covet His control over my life. After too much slack, too much room to roam, I now know where it is that I belong. The most intriguing thing about it all, is that the more controlled I am by Him, the more freedom I find myself experiencing; freedoms I never knew existed.

My prayer for myself, my prayer for you:

I wish a short leash on us all today. I wish us freedom in God!

Shalom

Saturday - JAN 15, 2011

My meditations came from the Lord this morning, as I was walking my grand-puppies, of all things:

Yesterday in our outdoor time and as we pattered down our customary pathway, I couldn't help but notice that the doggy evidences from our entire complex, were taking over the walkway. I was somewhat irritated, as each one is responsible by rules of the neighborhood, to clean up after their own. Fret not. I brought myself immediately back into right composure, not allowing my emotions to incite me unto any corresponding actions.

One day later, as I was recalling all those "piles" set for my boots to encounter, I was amazed at the idea that my feet somehow escaped every single one of those, and that apart from my full attention to do so.

Oh, what wonderful ministry of the Holy Spirit can come, over the simplest situations in life.

How is it possible and what are the chances that I should automatically manage to miss every single nasty deposit hidden on those grounds? And the Lord began to speak clearly:

Psalm 91:11,12 - For he shall give his angels charge over thee; to keep thee in all thy ways, they shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Proverbs 3:5-7 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I recognize that to attach these verses to my steps in this type of trivial circumstance, may appear non-relative and even a bit sacrilegious to some. However, I must state, "If He is speaking, I will be listening." And He was. And so I am.

Following these thoughts, there came an entourage of memories, flooding over my mind: How many times had He spared me from stepping into wrong places? How many traps had been set for me throughout my life, that He delivered me from, and apart from any help from me? How thankful am I that He was watching when I wasn't?

I heard these words from the Holy Spirit, "Watch where you're going!" And my voice in response, "Why?"

Then, my Father's favorite hymn began playing in my spirit, His Eye Is On The Sparrow ... And I know He watches me!

Next, revelation came to me, that on these walks recently, I've found myself numerous times looking over my shoulder. He pointed out fear that had crept into my heart, regarding women walking alone these days, and stories I've heard about being in the wrong place at precisely the wrong time; meeting with dangerous, life-altering and even life threatening outcomes.

I sensed the Lord's ministry to me, to put my complete trust in Him to guide my every move unto prosperity.

We must walk "wisely," in addition to placing our trust in Him.

I have shared over and over again with young women and not excluding older ones, the precautions that are necessary for today's women living in today's world. My daughter learned first-hand a few years ago, that my words to her were true, when a strange man followed her home from a gas station one evening. I stand in awe at how ill equipped, how naive people are today, in spite of all that is portrayed before them every day through media, television programming, national news and internet information; warning them of what things can happen and how to be prepared.

This scripture came to mind next:

Proverbs 4:26 - Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.

Psalm 119:98 - Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me.

Proverbs 4:1 - Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

Proverbs 5:1 - My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding.

Proverbs 8:1-3 - Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice? She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths. She crieth at the gates at the entry of the city at the coming in at the doors.

I pray for myself, and for all of you, that we walk in the pathways of the Lord! I thank Him at the same time for His mighty and loving provision over us to lead us and to guide us thereunto.

Psalm 121:4 - Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship created in Christ Jesus unto good works (paths), which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Morning Meds with Izzy Herriette & Co/Ginger Renken

Thursday - JAN 13, 2011

As I spent time over the past few days, in conversation with a loved one, I was brought back more than once to the last devotion I shared. Which by the way was on Monday! I can't believe I missed two whole days with you.

Back to the story: (I do that all too frequently!)

This person was scurrying like mad, yesterday, as I tagged along for the early part of the day. She (anonymous) was preparing for a trip - for TODAY - which would have been tomorrow, yesterday; and at the last minute. I suggested, very tenderly, that she plan ahead a little more, or ask for help from someone. "Well, well, well," she bumbled in answer. My again careful "teacher moment" caused me to offer up, "Well, you have known about this for quite some time, now. Right?" (Keeping the sweet, small and "gingerly" tone in tact. I love that!)

As a matter of fact, I learned that morning, that for SURE, she would be coming over and I would be taking her out of town for a delivery; as she had blown out a back tire on her vehicle just the day before, when she hit several of Tulsa's infamous potholes in the road. Her car was not out-of-town drive-able. (Is that a word? I know we say it all the time.)

So at 7:00 A.M. I was ready ... and waiting. She only showed up fifteen minutes late and I understood why, with everything else she had going on. When we left the house, I looked at the gas gauge of my own vehicle, only to see that we were way low, like almost on empty. Only 55 miles of drive time left in the tank. My husband had used it the day before and didn't fill it back up. Hmmm. I didn't shake my head, either.

I told anonymous that we would have to "stop" for some gas before we dare leave town. The temps were below freezing and the wind was blowing 35 miles per hour. No, I don't go out of town with no gas on a day like this!

She insisted that we did NOT have time for that. I insisted that I would NOT be caught stranded on the roadside, any day, but for certain not on a day this cold! She won. What is wrong with me?

All the way there, she assured me that we would have plenty of gas; plenty of gas. And should we run out, we do have a reserve on this Expedition. She had Googled it! I don't know when she did that. Okay. I was counting on her every word to be the absolute truth; and nothing but.

When we hit our out-of-town destination, a half hour later; my SUV hit the zero reading for remaining miles to drive on the remaining amount of gas in the tank! Needless to say, being the mature woman that I am, I just took it all in stride, was very calm and that is just not the truth at all! And I don't lie!

At this point I began pleading with her, "Can we please get gas now?" Of all things, she came back with, "Well, if we stop to get gas now, their office is opening and they won't have this equipment that they need and I could lose my job for that."

Apart from laughing at the sheer irony of that entire thought process, I was, I guess, a little bit perplexed; as we continued on down the road(s) and away from the gas stations that were still in view in my rear view mirror. "Dear Lord, keep this thing running," was my hidden prayer - cry!

We dropped off the machine(s), which took time to take inside, being that they were numerous and heavy, and awkward, along with the fact that she wouldn't for some reason allow me to help her with them, in order to speed up the process. And the truck "had to keep running" because (she insisted), "If we shut it off, it will take twice as much gas to start it up again!"

So, out from the distance she came, shouting, "Wonderful! They locked me out this time for some reason!" Which meant another trip to the truck for the keys to the building, and then a second jog to the building. I, of course, sat in the truck (the one running without gas) as I'd been told to. I waited patiently. And prayed fervently!

1,2,3,4,5 ... She finally emerged from behind the bushes - running and laughing of all things! Then came her shrill, "Okay, floor it now! Let's get to that gas station ... after we talk to this woman who's walking up behind the truck ... the one who locked me out of the office!" The woman exchanged hello's and began immediately to move toward the office building, quickly, as to seek shelter from the freezing temperatures. My travel partner, concerned about the gas that was running out, struck up a conversation with her about where she put the equipment and, and, and, and.

We finally pulled out of the parking lot, her light and happy mood as part of the instructions she flitting-ly (?) waved at me next, "Turn to the left!" We drove a few blocks and she abruptly shouted, "Turn to the left, NOW!" The road I was to turn on, didn't look familiar, and it wasn't a road that was actually accessible from the street we were traveling on. Seeing how I'm so good at just taking orders, however, I slammed on the brakes and made the oddest turn to the left and up another road. Then another road. And another. I notice that she was looking around ... like we were lost! She calmly justified herself with, "Well, there are so many roads back here that it's very easy to lose your way."

I began singing Amazing Grace to myself, in disbelief!

I finally got up the nerve to squeak out, in her direction, "Are we going to make it to the gas station?"

Thank God she was right about her calculations with my vehicle and we made it to the station with her acting as though nothing had ever happened. No big deal!

On our way home, she rehearsed her list of "HAVE to's" for the day. I invisibly shook my head, back and forth, while keeping a straight face at the same time. Every time she would begin to share one more thing she had to do, her cell would ring, with one more thing she couldn't forget to do.

When we finally arrived at her house, where for some reason it escapes me now what we went there to do ... I was pressed further, to keep that same face plastered on myself. Her entire house was gutted and a crew of renovation workers occupied every area of the house - working it all out!

The living room contents were stacked to the ceiling in the dining room, you couldn't really get to the kitchen; their clothes were "somewhere," she just didn't know where to be exact; the washer and dryer were unhooked and in a different location, the reason for her not having any clothes to take on this trip - with her - tomorrow morning or this morning.

The conference is in Arizona, where the temperature will be gravely opposite of Oklahoma. Where were the summer clothes? It's a formal, black tie and she didn't have her dress picked out or purchased yet; or anything to go with it. The tux wasn't ordered yet and/or the shirts sent to the dry cleaners.

As we entered the gates of my complex, where she would return me to my home, I asked, "Are you sure you don't want me to go with and help you today?" As I entered through my own front door, sluggishly removed my coat and started for a drink; I realized how exhausted I was! Lord, have mercy!

At once, the article I had written on Monday, was being read aloud to my spirit. Guess who's getting a copy of it, as soon as they arrive back from Arizona on Sunday; at which time they will retrieve their two dogs from this dog-sitting Grandma!

Here's to hoping you are all about meditating ahead of time, on that which may be "down the road"!

Glory to God!

He makes a straight path for our feet ...

Monday - JAN 10. 2011

With all of the "stuff" that I have, my husband is always amazed when I can identify, immediately, if even one piece has been moved to a different spot ... by his slippery little hands.

Yes! I am well organized. I also have a tendency to watch over that organization like a hawk, which can go to an extreme, if I don't keep it under control

Even if I have papers strewn across my desktop, and stacks of books alongside, it's never in a manner where I've just haphazardly thrown them. I know exactly what they are and why they are where they are. That's right.

My husband likes to come into my office and, well let's just say, I've learned over the years that it's cause for alarm, as he likes to reposition everything. Don't ask me why.

I don't like wasting my time on looking for things. I'm finally at a place in my life, where I actually have time for doing the things I've always wanted to do. I'm passionate about making the most of my days remaining, and therefore, I choose to have everything in a "quick grab - and move on" order.

Sometimes my way of doing things, is conceived as an obsessive and annoying behavior in our household. Funny thing though, when my children where home, and now my husband alone; from all corners of the house, would and still do come cries, "Have you seen my ...?" Who do they expect to have the answer? And why?

You know, as I'm meditating on this scenario by the Holy Spirit's leading this morning, I am also experiencing (as always) a flood of scriptures coming to mind:

Psalm 1:1-3 - Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that bringeth forth his fruit in his season his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Proverbs 25:28 - He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

Proverbs 4:25-27 - Let thine eyes look right on and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left; remove thy foot from evil.

2 Kings 20:1 - In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

I see so many timely applications to these thoughts this morning:

1) With those who lost their lives this past weekend in AZ. Was their "house" in order?

2) Of course, we're addressing both physical and spiritual aspects of our lives in this message.

3) How can we bring ourselves into a "new order" this year - that we might be better watchmen - prepared for all things/areas in our lives.

4) It is a proven fact that people produce more when things are organized!

5) Attention paid - intentionally - to the details in our lives; may just be that desired monitor for keeping us in line and, ultimately ushering us into the highest quality of life when all is said and done.

Here's to the straight path and to the JOY on that path!

Isaiah 35:8-10 - And a highway will be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there. And the ransomed of the Lord shall return and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Good Day!

Morning Meds (Meditations) with Izzy Herriette & Co/Ginger Renken

Sunday - JAN 9, 2011

The "mind"! Minding the mind.

Anyone who's ever accomplished anything in life, knows that they have had to "mind their mind," in order to do so.

Has your mind ever wandered to places where it would have been best had it never gone? Has it ever stayed in those very places, for far too long, once it snuck away there? Have you ever had to go and "retrieve" your mind, in much the same manner as you chasing your runaway dog? How about demanding your mind to "sit"? Oh, yes!

Battles always have been, and always will be, waged and fought all across our land. I dare to say that if the battles in the minds were won, there would be no battles in the land.

The mind - what a mechanism! Powerful little thing, ha?

The mind, the imagination; thoughts that if meditated upon and/or entertained long enough, can lead to ACTION.

And that statement re-minds me of many a wise word from God's Word:

Philippians 4:8,9 - Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report, if there be any virtue and if there be any praise, think on these things. These things which ye have both learned, and received and heard and seen in me, do; and the God of peace shall be with you.

These words from Paul, were written from Rome during his imprisonment - imagine THAT! Here, he is instructing the brethren to "keep their minds" in that God ordained place: peace, Shalom! Even while in prison, Paul admonishes us, whilest HE remains in that state of mind in spite of his physical state. He teaches us what to do, by his words, and further demonstrates the necessity of actually doing what we're told, by his own life.

2 Corinthians 10:3-8 - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds.) ...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Castle - (Take a gander at this, just to expound upon that "stronghold".)

(vs 5) - Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Now, if you would, look at how the forward of this particular chapter (2 Corinthians) in my Bible reads (first paragraph):

"2 Corinthians is an intensely personal epistle. The weight of Paul's burden, his care for the churches, and his deep love and concern for them is reflected in the writing. It also reveals some of the difficulties Paul went through in his missionary endeavors. He endured much hardship, suffering, and humiliation."

Amazing! Again, imagine this powerful and called apart man of God ... enduring such suffering as he was, and at the same time still telling US how to handle our MINDS?

Selah - (Hebrew - Pause and calmly think on that.)

1 Peter 1:13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Oh, is this one DEEP!

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/loin

Once more, for the purpose of expounding; laying layers that strengthen and cause to remain!

Did you SEE the part about the loins being the reproductive part of the body? This is so powerful. How does that hit you, in light of the scripture quoted above? The true thought, here, is that the mind is a place of reproduction; literally, the truth is, that it's a place of "birthing"! Be warned!

Romans 12:1,2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world; but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

I have in my possession, weeks and months of recorded teachings of mine, that I could share with you regarding this subject. Oh, how deep it really goes, once you get to the original meaning of the wording used in scripture!

For today, however, the Holy Spirit is warning (since 2004 - izzyherrietteco.blogspot.com) that " ... in the earth, there is an absolute "campaign" for the minds of men in this particular day!"

What will you do about that warning?

If we don't heed the warnings given ... well, look around you! Enough said.

"Be Sure In Knowing - The Winds Are Blowing!" - (Excerpt from Manifesto-Before the Cock Crows - 2004 - by Ginger Renken - Revelation of the perils to come upon the earth in soon coming days.)

Control your thoughts BEFORE they control you, your world, and the world around you!

The end of last year, found me designing a calendar for my grandson - for 2011. The caption for the calendar being:

Ps 127:1 - Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Following the shooting, today, in our nation ... I'm led to ponder the idea that this verse applies as well to - NATIONS!

After hearing the latest news reports regarding the shooting, I was led of the Lord to pick up this "certain" book: The Greatest Inventions of the PAST 2,000 YEARS - Today's Leading Thinkers Choose the Creations That Shaped Our World.

Bill Gates comments on the book:

"Recently, the author and literary agent John Brockman posed the question 'What is the most important invention in the last 2,000 years?' He received thoughtful and often surprising answers from more than 100 leading thinkers ... Reading them reminds me of how wondrous our world is." BILL GATES

I opened to read this excerpt today:

STEVEN ROSE

Democracy and Social Justice

I don't need a full page. The answer is clear: inventions are concepts, not just technologies, so the most important inventions are the concepts of democracy and social justice and the belief the possibility of creating a society free from the oppressions of class, race, and gender.

STEVEN ROSE, a neurobiologist, is a professor of biology and the director of the Brain and Behavior Research Group at the Open University, Milton Keynes, England. He is the author of Molecules and Minds, The Making of Memory, and Lifelines; a coauthor (with R.C. Lewontin and Leon Kamin) of Not in Our Genes; and the editor of From Brains to Consciousness? Essays on the New Science of the Mind.

All very appropriate, considering the events of this day - wouldn't you say?

Would you intentionally drive through a red light or choose to drive up a one-way the wrong way? How about jumping from a ten story building, with no net below to catch you?

Laws? Things "set in place" for your protection and safety; prosperity. When we violate such laws as those mentioned above, we suffer consequences, or we bear the fruit of that action. We don't bear it because someone wanted us to. Quite the contrary! Those laws were created for your GOOD - to HELP you. Those laws weren't created to limit or to bind you, but to bring you freedom.God's laws work in the same way and were created for the same reason(s). When we operate in the laws that God placed in the earth and then revealed through His Word, we actually DO PROSPER!

Believe it or not:

God is FOR us and not AGAINST us:Romans 8:31,32 - What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

It took me many years to learn and to come to right understanding of the things I'm sharing with you, here, today. His Word brought about the revelation, along with the Ephesians 1: 18 prayer.

Deuteronomy 28:1,2 - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God ...

God IS for us - in the laws that govern this world.

I imagine myself on a ferris-wheel, right now, lifting the bar that was placed there to hold me safely in to that ride. Hmmm.

Selah - (Hebrew Definition - Pause and calmly think on that.)

Shalom - (Hebrew Definition- Peace - nothing missing, nothing broken!)

James 1:13-16 - Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived; it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.

Romans 13:13,14 - Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh; to fulfill the lusts thereof.

1 Corinthians 10:12,13 - Wherefore, let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Years ago, in my pastorate, in one of my teachings ...

The Lord spoke this to me, "My people work hard to find ways to "escape" My power and My ability to cause them to "escape" the temptation!"

God doesn't tempt us into lust and on into sin! The lust within us, uncontrolled, undetected and eventually unleashed; brings about the giving in - to sin!

WATCH AND PRAY. REMAIN ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN HIM!

CONTROVERSY:

Controversy: 1948 - New Century Dictionary - Turned against; dispute; turn; debate; contention; disputation concerning a matter of opinion.

Our present world is in controversy with itself. The hard pressed expression is that we are fast paced, busy and driven, therefore, leaving us with no time for meditation. At the same time, we see that meditation (every form thereof), is at the very forefront of focus - it is the posh-padded new pathway, haled in our society today for everyone to trample after. Example: our favorite coffee shops, our luxury retreats, weekend packages for the salvation of our wholeness, spas, message therapy, organics for the health of our mind, body and soul; movies, toys, entertainment and the list goes on, and on, and on ... and the greatest on the list is the "information age". It takes time and attention to digest all of that information out there - all new - and filtered down to us through all new channels! All requiring more, more and more of our time and attention.

Meditate: Webster's 1913 Dictionary

To keep the mind in a state of contemplation; to dwell on anything in thought; to think seriously; to muse; to cogitate; to reflect.
[imp. & p. p. Meditated ; p. pr. & vb. n. Meditating.]
In his law doth he meditate day and night.
- Ps. 1:1, 2.

To contemplate; to keep the mind fixed upon; to study.

To purpose; to intend; to design; to plan by revolving in the mind; as, to meditate a war.
I meditate to pass the remainder of life in a state of undisturbed repose.
- Washington.

The on-line Bible definitions for "meditate" are very interesting, indeed! I learned that all Old Testament references carried a rather negative connotation to their meaning:

mourn, mutter, roaring, sore, talk, study, imagine, moan, growl, utter, muse, devise, plot, complain, whisper, murmur

Oddly, the New Testament meaning, changes to a positive:

imagine, to care for, attend to carefully, practise, devise, contrive, take care, care about

Hmmm...

Psalm 5: 1 - Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.

Psalm 19: 14 - Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.

Psalm 49: 3 - My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

Psalm 104: 34 - My meditation of him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the Lord.

Psalm 119:97 - O how I love thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

Psalm 119: 99 - I have more understanding than all my teachers; for thy testimonies are my meditation.

In writing the book: Manifesto - Before The Cock Crows, (which I would say, is an enormous piece of counsel for profiting unto good, to anyone who takes it unto themselves to do it) I found the centrality of the message to be a deep cry to: Watch Over Your Minds - Meditations!

1 Peter 1: 13 - Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Why is this so important, today?

Let me tell you that there are "wicked" minds out there these days - among family members, friends, neighbors, lawmakers, government officials, national leaders. There are devices being devised in a cunning and crafty way, to change the course of things, in this day. If you are not AWAKENED to this fact - I AM HERE TO AWAKEN YOU! The only reason I can do that, is because the Lord, always, by His Spirit, gives me the head's up!

The things that we're seeing in our world today, I was warned about years ago!

God (if you don't already know) is a man who EXPOSES DARKNESS! God is a man who CRACKS AND CREATES THE DAWNS! God, right now, KNOWS AND SEES ALL and is trying His best to SHAKE SOME OF US UP out of our places of blindness and ignorance!

At this very moment there are FREEDOMS AND LIBERTIES, bearing many different names, which are on the verge of being STOLEN CLEAN AWAY from us!

Do YOU have knowledge of these things? Could you NAME them?

If your answer is NO - you are in the RIGHT place! I CAN help you!

MEDITATIONS are at the BACKBONE of our LIBERTIES at risk right now!

The mind leads the man. So goes the man, so goes the nation; if the majority follows! Sometimes, as is the case at this time, it only takes a few in "influential positions" to change the course of an entire nation. That initiator seeks out, pursues and invests in those who will willingly be like minded, and help to further and to ultimately accomplish their causes.

People can be following a PATH that they see not - like sheep being led, deceptively, over a cliff - IN A FOG!

I believe that we are there, NOW!

There are things going on in high places that we know not of. We're not paying attention. We're not watching. We're not informed. We are out "eating, drinking and being merry". Meantime, there is a watchful, scheming, informed, educated, equipped, strategic, studied-out plotting, taking place over governments.

Do we know and/or understand that? Did we understand 9/11/01, here in the United States?

There were many prophetic people in the land, who knew that 9/11/01 was coming. Would people have heeded their warnings, had they been given?

I was one of them. I led my people, my flock at that time (by instruction and revelation of the Holy Spirit), into a prayer in the floor on 9/2/01. The Lord had spoken to me before service that morning that there was something going on in the unseen realm that we needed the "watch" of His Holy Spirit to be making us aware of!

Goodness clothed with innocence but stripped of wisdom - faces danger!

Matthew 10: 16 - Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Serpents: (Gk) - (through the idea of sharpness of vision) - snake, serpent; with the ancients, the serpent was an emblem of cunning wisdom. The serpent who deceived Eve was regarded by the Jews as the devil.

If we desire goodness, we must also realize that there is an imperative to the "maintenance" of that goodness!

We are the benefactors, only, of that which we choose to meticulously be keepers over!

Genesis 2: 15 - And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Someone has to govern. This is why we have governments. So, what do we choose to be governed by? What kind of lives do we desire to be able to live? Accordingly, we must then go a step further, to take the responsibility to rule unto that end - or choose those who will rule for us - hopefully, unto that end! Or we can sit back, be uninvolved, oblivious, irresponsible and foolish; choosing, thereby, to live under whatever is chosen for us by other activists!

There is, today, even what the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6: 18 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I don't believe that a majority of people in the earth today, have clear vision of how much wickedness is literally lurking in governments today - seeking out places to set up their kingdoms and to begin to RULE!
High places!

I adjure you, by the Spirit of God, to be very, very careful about what you believe in this very day and hour!
The Lord spoke to me in the writing of the book and said, "Ginger, these are days of either the 'harry potter or the Holy Potter'!

Harry: Ravage as an army does. Army, host. To ravage (places) as in war; devastate; pillage, or despoil; also, to harass (persons) by repeated attacks, forced exactions, rapacious demands, etc.; in gen., to harass, trouble, torment, or worry; also, to carry off, as in a raid. To make harassing, incursions.

Potter: One who makes earthen pots or vessels.

Holy: Entitled to worship or profound religious reverence because of divine character or origin, or connection with God or divinity; in general, invested with a sacred character, hallowed, or held in profound reverence; also, specially recognized as or declared sacred by religious use or authority, or consecrated.

In other words, we will be formed by schools of thought and sealed therein. Our fate is in those thoughts! Our end. Or our beginning. All in a school of thought!

Will we choose, this day, to be formed into a Holy thing or a harrowing thing? We must begin to
think!

Our nation - the United States of America - is heading towards a true RE-FORMATION!
I know that some people don't see or believe that ... some do. Those who do, are completely taken, by how close we actually are to it and by how suddenly it seems to have come upon us.

One year ago, the Lord gave me a prophetic song for the nations. In this song, the Lord referred to these days as "tumultuous days".

Just this past week, a reporter from Wall Street (a twenty-two year veteran), was on radio, and made this comment regarding the recent Wall Street Fall, " I never in my wildest imaginations, would have thought that I would see a day like this! These are "tumultuous days"! There's just no other way to say it. We are on the verge, one step away from Socialism! Does anyone see that?"

God doesn't "miss" when He speaks prophetically - if it's really Him speaking.

I know that I hear from Him! Therefore, I SPEAK!

WILL YOU HEAR WHAT GOD HAS TO SAY, BY WAY OF HIS MOUTHPIECE?

WE NEED TO BE "AWAKENED"!

THUS, THE CREATION OF THIS PARTICULAR SITE ...

A PLACE TO POST WHAT THINGS THE LORD HAS SAID IN THE PAST ...

To incite a MEDITATION UPON THOSE very THINGS ...

SEE HOW MANY OF THE WORDS SPOKEN, HAVE ALREADY COME TO PASS ...

THEN, TAKE PROPHETIC WORDS FOR THE FUTURE ...

BELIEVE THEM ...

AND BUILD WITH THEM ...

FOR SAFETY SAKE!

We are currently in trouble on many levels, in the world.

So, who will "govern" the situation at hand?

Only ones who have the mind for it!

Nehemiah 4: 6 - So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof; for the people had a mind to work.

I pray that God gives you a mind to work, today - for this day!
